About This Site

Hi! We are a few local Peekskill residents doing this because we love our little city. If you already love Peekskill or haven’t yet discovered it, we want you to know what’s going on here—who, when, where, and why.

We also want to hear from you: What city services are you looking for? Are you taking a trip to Peekskill and have questions? What do you recommend—restaurants, events, festivals, local hikes—that not enough people know about? Email us at suggestions@peekskill.rocks.

And if you’ve got a little time to spare, we want you to rock with us. We’re keen to meet writers, photographers, videographers, comics artists, historians, (especially) Spanish speakers, and anyone else who wants to help us tell the story of Peekskill present and past.

We’ve also started a Peekskill Rocks calendar. We want to include events from all the venues and organizations we can; there are instructions here about how to add your events to the calendar. If you’re not quite ready to do that, please email us your event listing page, and we’ll add it to our resource list.

How to contact us:

Email: suggestions@peekskill.rocks

A warm welcome in terrible Spanish (help us fix it!):

Hablantes de español Bienvenido! Estamos esperando para traducir nuestro sitio en español tan pronto como sea posible. (Y por favor, perdone esta mala traducción.) ¿Quieres ayudar? Añadir un comentario más abajo para que podamos contactar con usted! O simplemente envíenos un email a suggestions@peekskill.rocks.

Well, first thing, I love the people who made this web site!!! I’m always feeling that I want to communicate with Peekskill friends and neighbors and now having one central place to post important things (bulk pick-up this week!) (there’s a new pothole on 300 block of Washington…). You can get what small things I think are so important.
