What’s Up Peekskill? Passover & Easter

Hello Peekskill. It’ll be a cloudy, rainy few days, but there are celebrations of faith to brighten your weekend, and if that’s not your thing, Dylan’s is having a wine sale and Friday is Garlic Day! Go scare a vampire. And Saturday is Husband Appreciation day — appreciated husbands puff out your chests! Get your Rock on Peekskill, celebrate the Exodus, the Resurrection, your husbands, and take in some live jams downtown.

What’s Up Peekskill? Winter’s back. HaHa April Fool.

Howdy P-Rockers. Friday is Mom and Pop Business day, and Peekskill has lots! Coffee shops, tattoo parlors, book stores, lawyers, wine cellars, lumber mills, restaurants and more. Go shopping, get your caffeine fix, got wine?, get some ink, some books, eat, or my favorite, buy some lumber! Peekskill rocks, that’s why good people have their awesome businesses here.

What’s Up Peekskill? Spring is Here!!!

Happy Spring to all my fellow P-Rockers! This wasn’t necessarily a horrible winter, but it sure seemed to last a long time. Seem that way to you, too?
Over the last couple of days I’ve heard the birds out singing in the mornings, heralding the change of season. Some of the sweetest sounds around. Spring is always a glorious time of year, so what better way to celebrate than to go downtown and knock one back for Spring!

What’s Up Peekskill? Green Beer is Gross.

You might have thought it was cool when you were a teenager, but really, green beer is and always will be gross. Even more so when you’re a teenager, and you drink too much, and it all comes back up. Now that I’ve planted that lovely image in your minds, please enjoy some pie on Pi day today — you know that universal constant? Tomorrow, watch your backs! Et tu, Brute! Celebrate Pandas on Saturday, and finally, Sunday is St. Paddy’s day. It’s a great celebratory stretch starting today, so get out there my fellow P-Rockers, and shake it! I know you got it!

Just remember: please drink green beer responsibly by not drinking it.
