Beacon Art Show Includes Peekskill Artist – April 11

Theo Ganz Studio in Beacon, NY,  is presenting Dispatches From Eternity, a collection of work from 30 artists.  The opening reception is this Saturday at 5 pm.

Among those featured is Peekskill’s Geoff Feder, whose fishing lure sculptures will catch everyone’s interest and imagination, hook, line and sinker!

Peekskill in the News

Lately some  well respected newspapers have taken notice of our town.

A few weeks ago, March 6, the Wall Street Journal noted our “increasingly vibrant downtown,” and that we’ve “experienced a resurgence in recent years.”

The following weekend saw a surge in business.

Today, April 1, The New York Times has jumped on our bandwagon with a Donnie and Marie reference in the headline, “a Little Country, a Little Urban.” (not sure what that will get us…)

Let’s see what happens this coming weekend!

And remember, Peekskill Rocks!
