What’s Up Peekskill? It’s February, and winter is both longer and shorter

It’s a battle of the ground hogs! Punxsutawney Phil says more winter. He’s usually about 30% right. Staten Island Chuck says spring is in the air. She’s about 80% right. Time will tell. In the meantime, Peekskill has some rockin’ to do.

What’s up Peekskill? We gots us a new Prez

A whole bunch of interesting things here, P-Rockers. If you can’t help The Jerk figure out why that sniper hates those cans so much on Tin Can day, you can wait a day and usher in POTUS #45. Yes he IS your president (like it or not). If that doesn’t do it for you, then you can appreciate a squirrel, or answer your cat’s questions. Yes, these are the days! Seriously, what is happening to our country when we appreciate a questionably intelligent rodent that gets run over by cars and loses its nuts? When you’re done with all that, get your butt downtown and Rock out.

What’s Up Peekskill? It’s 2017.

The confetti has been cleaned up, the subway station in Grand Central still smells like barf (gross!), the weather is cold, then hot, then cold again, a new, tweet-happy president is about to be sworn in, Congress tried to not get caught in an ethical conundrum (idiots!), the Rangers are hot, then cold, then hot again, Kim Kardashian is back on social media (sigh) and Peekskill… well, Peekskill rocks!
Happy New Year! Get used to it.

What’s Up Peekskill? Happy New Year!

2016
2016 was a stinker of a year. Far too many losses if you ask us at P-rocks. We lost a Space Oddity, Professor Snape, The Greatest, Chekov (the new one), Mrs. Brady, the Symbol guy (Prince for those of you who forgot about that phase), Fidel Castro and Princess Leia to name but a few. May the force be with them. But at least we won’t have to wear these stupid glasses anymore…
