Saturday: First Annual Nashkill Festival!

Over the years, Peekskill has been home to many great festivals. This year we get to add another fest to that long list; and it looks to be an excellent addition:

“Ten years ago, I left Kentucky for Broadway,” says event producer and vocalist Joni Blondell. “This is an opportunity to bring a little of the Kentucky front porch bluegrass and country music heritage for which I am home sick for to Peekskill. We have an incredible line up of performers. We hope to make this an annual event.”

Saturday, May 20
3pm – Midnight
Near Peekskill Riverfront Green:
Railroad Avenue, in front of Buns-N-Bourbon

What’s Up Peekskill? The Force! But not your pants…

Happy Star Wars Day everyone. May the Forth (Force?) be with you. And also with your pants, that you will take off on Friday. Because you will bare it all on Saturday when you go a-gardening. It’s also Cinqo de Mayo on Friday, whether you have your pants on or not. But it’s all okay, because we can laugh it all off (pun intended) on Sunday. Enjoy. You’re welcome. Rock on, Peekskill!
