What’s Up Peekskill? It’s a Horse race.

Friday is Press Freedom Day so read a newspaper and appreciate the people’s intelligence service: the free press!
Saturday you can bust out the bourbon and mint, it’s Derby time. Also take some time to be one with the Force.
On Sunday bust out the tequila and mariachi music for Cinqo de Mayo.
All weekend long, bust your moves cause you’re a P-rocker.

What’s Up Peekskill? April Showers.

It’s a rainy day in April, go figure. It’s a rainy weekend, too. So brighten it up by going to the plant sale on Saturday at the Riverfront Green, and take in the cherry blossoms while you’re at it. When you’re done there, check out Dain’s deck show to upgrade your house, and then stop by Dylan’s for a wine tasting. So that’s Saturday, the rest of the weekend is up to you. So go out and P-Rock it.

What’s Up Peekskill? Spring is Here!!!

Happy Spring to all my fellow P-Rockers! This wasn’t necessarily a horrible winter, but it sure seemed to last a long time. Seem that way to you, too?
Over the last couple of days I’ve heard the birds out singing in the mornings, heralding the change of season. Some of the sweetest sounds around. Spring is always a glorious time of year, so what better way to celebrate than to go downtown and knock one back for Spring!
