What’s Up Peekskill? Spring ahead!

Got a lot going on this weekend. Tons of music, Birdsall House anniversary, swing dancing and Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, (or weeks, it lasts until the 19th). So come on down and celebrate false teeth, awesomeness, and daylight savings time. That’s one less hour to get over your hangover, so take it easy rockin’ on Saturday night.

What’s Up Peekskill? It’s February, and winter is both longer and shorter

It’s a battle of the ground hogs! Punxsutawney Phil says more winter. He’s usually about 30% right. Staten Island Chuck says spring is in the air. She’s about 80% right. Time will tell. In the meantime, Peekskill has some rockin’ to do.

What’s Up Peekskill? It’s a no-brainer

What do peanut brittle, no brainers, curmudgeons and kazoos have in common? Nothing really, but they are all celebrated this week for some really odd, perhaps serendipitous, reason. Actually, and alternatively, they were all invented in Peekskill, ’cause we rock!
