Joy on Fire at Division Street Guitars this Saturday!

I can’t tell you how excited I am (and how lucky Peekskill is) to have Division Street Guitars putting on all-ages music events.

This weekend is the first official show with Joy on Fire from Baltimore and Blueblack from Long Island.
Here is the blurb from the Joy on Fire press pack:

Bass, drums and sax are a trio. JOY ON FIRE, however, is a triomassive — an insurgent kaleidoscope of sound greater than many multiples of its parts. Referencing the most daring jazz-rock fusionists in modern history, the band performs a spectrum of instrumentals best described as “punk-jazz/fuzz-rock” or “Zeppelin-meets-Coltrane.”

The show is at 10pm (after Buckwheat Zydeco at the Paramount!) and is only THREE BUCKS ($3)!!!

Mardi Gras is Coming to Peekskill!

mardi-gras-peekskill-1000That’s right, Mardi Gras Madness Week will soon be here.  Presented by Paramount Hudson Valley and Go Peekskill.
