What’s Up Peekskill? The Sun will come out!

Today is (was?) Bike to Work day. So if you didn’t, go home, get your bike, and go back to work. Yes, seriously! Saturday Fernando can be a Dancing Queen, Abbarama is at the Paramount. And Sunday is plant a vegetable garden day, so you can get dirty growing your own. You can also call it “organic”. Or as your grandparents called it, “food.” That’s my favorite fridge magnet I’ve seen for sale in the Peekskill Coffee House. But, whatever you wanna do, it looks like a gorgeous weekend, so get out your P-Rock and shake it.

What’s Up Peekskill? Mom!

Hey there P-Rockers, it’s Mothers Day this weekend so don’t go dissing your Mom. It’s rainy, so think bright and cheery. You can get her some plants at the plant sale at the Riverfront, or if you need to brace yourself for family time, there’s some whiskey tasting at Dylan’s in the afternoon. Then Don McLean will be drinking whiskey and rye at the Paramount that night. Rock out Peekskill.

What’s Up Peekskill? April Showers.

It’s a rainy day in April, go figure. It’s a rainy weekend, too. So brighten it up by going to the plant sale on Saturday at the Riverfront Green, and take in the cherry blossoms while you’re at it. When you’re done there, check out Dain’s deck show to upgrade your house, and then stop by Dylan’s for a wine tasting. So that’s Saturday, the rest of the weekend is up to you. So go out and P-Rock it.
